Preparing to Move In(or out?)...sorta

(Does anyone else notice the blatant attempt at diversity??......I applaud the intentions though)

So, with 27 days till move in(or move out, depending on how you see the glass) day. I'm getting more consistent emails about things concerning the apartment and formal Hire documentation. Including this lovely reminder that I have not figured out a roommate for the program.
Awesome reminder!(Noooooot -___-)
I was a little disappointed when I realized that I would be going into the program without knowing who my roommate will be. I wont even know where my apartment is OR if I'll be getting stuck with the 3 person bedroom...actually I don't even care about that part, I just really don't want the top bunk on the bunk bed. Ugh.

Aaaaaaanyways. On a brighter note. I've almost completely forgotten about the class I'll be taking there. The class is called Blended Learning Series! And it doesn't start till February, which I think will be like 2 or 3 weeks into the program. Once everyone has gotten settled. The can't 100% remember but the class is either once or twice a week. I'll make sure to do a complete post dedicated to more information once I have a handle on it.
This is the syllabus for the class. Click on the picture for a bigger view.

Also, I wish the website were more well kept in terms of keep an update to date live check list for each participant. For example....here's  taste of what I'm constantly being reminded to do..

...I've already done all on the list, or at least all that I can do. But constantly seeing that "action required" in big RED really stresses me out!! I'm so paranoid that maybe I haven' done something right that I've been taking screen shots of almost everything I complete and then printing it and throwing it into a folder to take with me when I go through the check-in process. Bleh.

That's the update for today!
Cheers!

EEEEK!!!

Soooooo. Everything is finally coming together!
I've officially told my internship boss about getting into the program......that didn't go as well as I had hoped...but...OH WELL!!

In t-minus 42 days I will be moving 1 and 1/2 hours north to Anaheim,Ca. I will be living 5 miutes away from Disneyland and will begin the training process for my program position. I don't know much about my position just yet. It's Guest Services, which isn't as self-explanatory as "Attractions" and "Food and Beverage." Bummer. But really, whats life without a few cliffhangers and unanswered questions? Well, technically, I have asked around about the position, but I have gotten different answeres from each person. Some say I'll be working in the Hotel and others say i'll be working at the Park. Only time will tell I guess.

Oh! Did I mention too that the apartments are absolutely B-E-A-Utiful??? Granite counter tops, two bedroom, two bath, with washer and dryer. Soo cuuuute!

I'm still taking care of final paperwork, but nothing too big yet I don't think. I have to admit....I'm a little nervous because, I don't know, call me superstitious, but good things rarely happen to me. So I'm a little scared that something might happen to ruin my chances. I feel like this wait is too long and something will go wrong. I don't know.

Anyways!

Superstitions aside, this blog has now officially become a class assignment. It will still be personal of course and you will still get an inside look into my world as I start the program and during it, but be forewarned that there may be posts that wont seem as appealing to the general audience but must be done in order to get credit for this program.

Some things to look forward to in the coming 42 days are as follow:

a) Filling out an official roommate survey(maybe)
b) Turning in final paperwork for the program
c) Packing
d) Moving

I guess after writing it down, those things dont exactly look too appealing to "look forward to...."
Sorry, I'll try to make it as appealing as possible.
Finally, I'll end with some cute pictures of what my apartment could Potentially look like.

Cheers!

The entrance to the complex.
This is what the kitchen and living room might look like.

Cheesy factor aside. The bunk beds is what most apartments are expected to have...some will have 3 to a room.

To Blog, or not to blog? Dat! is 'se question...

Hey there!

Well here we are, or more like, here I am. My second attempt at a blog and first official attempt. So I'll start with a little bit about me.

As of right now during this exact blog creation I am a 3rd year junior in college. At California State University, San Marcos. It wasn't my first choice school, in fact it was my absolute last, and I mean, LAST resort. But then again, as people say, everything happens for a reason right?

I've had some great experiences at this school though, I've met so many different kinds of people, made a couple best friends and other really good friends. I've met people that were just meant to be learning experiences, and they most certainly didn't stay in my life.

I am a Visual and Performing major. In all honesty, I wanted very badly to be a film maker, but about 1 year into my classes I realized I didn't have a passion for it as someone really should when giving up their life in pursuit of a real dream. So here I am, three years into my college career and almost not a clue of what I want to do with my life. Ugh. no pressure right?

But on the bright side, I'm buying myself some more time to figure things out. Becaaaaaaaaause in January, or 64 more days, I will be moving to Anaheim, Ca to start a 9 month long program called the Disney College Program!!!

Eeek! I cant wait for the possibilities! and *cough cough* I cant wait for the semester off either.

So this blog will begin from this point on, you will be with me as I live my everyday life and prepare for the next adventure in my life. The Disney College Program in Anaheim,Ca.

I hope you enjoy the adventure of life along with me!
